Bromsgrove Festival open-air Shakespeare at Avoncroft Museum

Pack a picnic and bring a chair to Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings on Sunday 12th July 2015 for an evening of outdoor Shakespeare as you have never seen it before.

Twelfth Night, one of the Bard’s best-loved plays, has been reworked as a high energy musical treat by theatre company, Oddsocks Productions, who are returning to Avoncroft by popular demand.

Performed in the beautiful grounds of the Museum, Shakespeare’s love story of mistaken identities has been intertwined with well-known Britpop hits to keep the whole family entertained.

Elli Mackenzie, Oddsocks Productions co-founder and Producer, describes their unique style of performance “We create theatrical experiences that are for everyone with lively characters and thoughtful performances. No hierarchy or elitism, just telling good stories in innovative ways to create a great night out.  And we perform whatever the weather, the show must go on!”

This performance forms part of the Bromsgrove Festival celebrating arts and culture at venues across the town.

Tickets cost £15 for adults, £8 for children and £37 for families and are available from the Oddsocks website in advance at http://www.oddsocks.co.uk/theatre/box-office
