Avoncroft Museum - a historic venue

Avoncroft Museum offers a range of opportunities for hiring individual buildings or the entire site for private or corporate functions, including weddings, conferences, film or photography hire, and parties.

The Guesten Hall

The Guesten Hall is a modern building, with up-to-date facilities topped by a beautiful crowning glory of medieval architecture, its 14^th century Grade II Listed timber roof, which dates from the 1330s.

The String of Horses building

 

For smaller meetings or events two rooms are available on the upper level of the half-timbered 16^th Century String of Horses building, a former inn rescued from the Frankwell area of Shrewsbury and re-erected at Avoncroft between 1973 and 1976.
