Historical Sessions
Tudor
Avoncroft offers the following Tudor teaching sessions:
- Tudor rich and poor
- Tudor builder
- Speed Shakespeare!
Sessions last for approximately 45 minutes and are designed for a maximum of 30 children per session. Sessions are delivered within the historic buildings or around the Museum’s open-air site and use historical replica objects, exploration and hands on experiences to recreate the past or explore the present.
Victorian
Avoncroft offers the following Victorian teaching sessions:
- Victorian rich and poor
- Victorian washday
- Victorian school day
- Victorian crime and punishment
Sessions last for approximately 45 minutes and are designed for a maximum of 30 children per session. 1940s
Avoncroft offers the following 1940s teaching sessions:
- Air raids
- Evacuation
- Life in a prefab
