The Edwardian Tea Room
The award-winning Edwardian Tea Room is a lovely place to relax with friends or family and enjoy the scrumptious selection of cakes or a light lunch on vintage china. The Tea Room uses fresh, local produce whenever possible, including produce from the Museum’s own period gardens.
A selection of award winning loose leaf teas, a range of coffees from espresso to latte and luxury hot chocolate.
A wide selection of homemade and traditional cakes, including a gluten free selection.
Cream teas, crumpets and other light snacks.
Including soup of the day, oven-baked jacket potatoes and delicious ‘chelsea tractors’. You can visit the Edwardian Tea Room independently to the Museum during any of the tea room opening hours, excluding big event days.

Avoncroft High Teas
A perfect way to celebrate a special occasion. Soak up the atmosphere of the Edwardian Tea Room whilst you enjoy sandwiches, scones and homemade cake served with our award-winning loose leaf tea, all on presented on our pretty mis-matched vintage crockery. Price – from £9.99 per adult.
Please book your High Tea a minimum of 24 hours in advance. During the winter the Edwardian Tea Room is open Wednesday to Sunday, so please make your reservation for a Wednesday High Tea by the previous Sunday. Bookings can be made by calling the Edwardian Tea Room on 01527 831363.
