Access & parking
Well-behaved dogs are allowed to visit the Museum but must be kept on leads at all times.
Avoncroft Museum is a 19-acre open-air site of historic buildings.
The buildings are linked by wide gravel paths and there are well positioned benches around the site. The site is mostly flat, although there is one steep hill to the ice house. Disabled parking is available close to the Museum entrance.
Avoncroft Museum is constantly working to improve the accessibility of the Museum. We always endeavour to meet our visitors’ requirements. If you have any specific requests or for more information please contact us.
The Museum has ample free parking and an overflow parking area for use on busier days.
